Top Rank for Pacquiao vs Margarito

Now we all hope that this one won't go down the drain as what happened to Mayweather, it was really a waste but we never know, he might come back but i doubt it. According to Arum, the next fight for Pacquiao will be on november against Margarito. They are still working on the deal and not to release any details yet but this fight is not too hard to make it happen.

Both Pacquiao and Margarito want this fight and not like with Floyd Mayweather who has too many issues. Pacquiao did not formally sign any papers yet but im sure he will agree with the fight against Margarito. More likely the fight would happen in either of the four venues: Mexico, Las Vegas, Dallas or Abu Dhabi.

The fight is for the WBC super-welterweight (154 lbs) title, although no one is really sure yet at where the weight would fall into this category. A 150 lb catchweight would be more likely.

Probably Pacquiao would have the larger share of the money 60-55%, and would make not less than $15 million.

Arum picked Margarito to fight Pacquiao instead of Miguel Cotto, coz he lost already to Pacquiao and people will see it as less competitive fighter.

Margarito was suspended last February because he was caught having a hard substance inside his fists with their fight against Shane Mosley, which he was knocked out.

But even if Margarito's license would fail there is still Las Vegas as an option to hold the Pacquiao vs Margarito fight.
